Today is St. Francis of Assisi Feast Day 2012. In as much as I wanted to celebrate this big day with my family, I still couldn’t steal a time to go home because of school stuff.

Anyways, remembering those days when I’m home, in our town, during these days we used to prepare foods since mom and dad are always anticipating for a number of visitors. So aside from church activities that the family are getting busy at, we were also busy at home for our visitors and relatives to come.

The image above depicts how St. Francis of Assisi really loves animals and the environment. He really was an animal lover. How I wish mom would buy a St. Francis statue for garden along with our mini-zoo in the backyard.
